	men's large (fits well oversized)	$480	Determined to make a robe with this red poly satin that felt luxurious rather than clownish, we exhumed two black and blue cotton fabrics with matching red elements - a breathable shirting for the back and sleeves, and a smooth floral print for a stable and durable placket. Rather than ask the satin to conform to the torso or bear the weight of hands or pocket contents, we placed double-tall pockets that can fit a book, blanket or umbrella. Finally, we added gold zigzag topstitching to crush the colors into a vibrant purple.
MOTO JACKET PATTERN JACKET	~~~more~~~
	men's medium	$380	At first, we considered several obnoxious and impractical fabrics for this jacket. But the lettering on the assembled cotton muslin pieces caught our eye and we changed our vision to accept what was already working. We replaced the zippers on the body and sleeve gussets with soft buttons and eyelets, and left rigid interfacing out of the shoulders and collar, so it wouldn't become more than "just a pattern". This jacket is lined, lightweight and soft.

	men's medium (fits well oversized)	$300	Less than three yards of this printed cotton jersey existed, and it had some inconvenient damage. Therefore, we obliged ourselves to make a full robe using only this fabric, out of respect to the shocking beauty of the print. Graceful acceptance of bias cuts allowed us to complete the placket with no substitutions.
CAFTAN FOR 100,000,000,000 BIRDS	~~~more~~~
	men's large (fits well oversized)	$840	One day a color match revealed itself to us in these three fabrics that had been in our stash for ages. The smooth, flat navy poly suede perfectly mediated the pink-dominated variegated seersucker and the black, blue, ecru and red cotton knit. We embraced the challenge of forcing these profoundly different fabrics together while respecting their separate intended functions. The seersucker sits against the body, the suede maintains a structured pocket and allows a satisfying fold in the placket, and the cotton knit is incredibly pleasant on the hands and neck. The knit interrupts the suede at the back of the neck to prevent a stiff or off-sized feeling. When worn with the placket folded, bright pink flashing on the interior becomes visible. We dedicate this robe to the honor of the approximately one hundred billion birds alive today.
UNCURSED T-SHIRT (sold.)	~~~more~~~
	men's large	$400	This cotton jersey was so unbelievably comfortable, it seemed absurd for it to become anything other than a t-shirt. Since it would be unethical to sell a cursed garment, we embroidered an obscure symbol using a herringbone stitch that can stretch in all directions with the surrounding jersey. With the knots out on the surface, the symbol can't be felt on the occupant's chest. We finished the job with a decorative trick that lays red threads across the seams. Without a curse on the shirt, wearing it feels like being in bed.

	men's large (fits well oversized)	$415	This garment showcases the unusual symmetries of this printed cotton cloth. The batik's gentle roughness matched our dream for a comfortable, sturdy placket, that holds a casual fold easily so the robe can hang open wider. Teal in the cotton flannel on the pockets and shoulders gently enhances the contrast between the red and white. Researchers found that this robe honors our ancestral cousins, the viruses and the bacteria.
RAIN WORSHIPPER'S ROBE	~~~more~~~
	men's large (fits well oversized)	$480	This robe is meant for watching a cold rain hit the window after sunset. The dark blue polyester body and beige seersucker lining weigh heavily and evenly across the shoulders; we chose a seersucker that would always keep air between the outer layer and the body. Denim facing and mirrored details from scraps of a floral cotton print evoke precipitation onto fields of flowers in the night.
